Karen Taylor earned her associate's degree in equestrian studies from the University of Findlay in 2000 and is experienced in all English disciplines, including hunterseat, dressage, saddleseat, and jumping.   She offers lesson for all ages and from beginner through advanced.  She earned her bachelor's degree in Journalism Graphics from Ball State University in 2003

Karen began her riding career in 1987 at the age of 7.  Her early instruction was with Al and Leah Kaufman of Kaufman Stables, Westfield, Ind.. It was here that she leased her first show horse, a Morgan named KE Flight of a Star and launched over a decade of involvement in the Morgan breed circuit - showing saddleseat, huntseat and dressage at local shows, regionals and the Grand National Morgan Horse Show. Karen also rode with and worked for Jim and Fay Lowry of Lowry Stables where she showed multiple champion Morgan horses included JLs High Tech, Spice O Life Sparkle Plenty, Paradigm Power Surge and Night Out.

During college she met Final Chapter, a Morgan gelding she purchased as a two year old and trained him through 2nd level dressage.

Karen's passion for dressage was ignited after college and she has had the opportunity to attend clinics with such industry notables as Tom Poulin, Captain Mark Phillips, Christopher Taylor, Kay Meredith and J. Ashton Moore.
